For the fourth consecutive year, Plomari Distillery continues the preservation of traditional wooden boats and the revival of the art of boatbuilding. This year, the boat “Iliachtida” was reconstructed, and is on display in the courtyard of the distillery in Lesvos. Visitors, as well as social media users, can participate in its artistic decoration, by submitting their summer memories which will be depicted on the boat. “Iliachtida” is transformed into a living symbol of collective memory, light and Greek tradition.
