Thireos History
On the label of Ouzo Plomari, a winged wheel awaits to tell you its story. What looks like a simple detail is in fact a living legend, traveling through time.
They say it all began with a bet in France: when a friend doubted his vision, Isidoros Arvanitis answered with the stubbornness of creation. On the first label of his distillate, he engraved the winged victory coin, a symbol of triumph and an enduring good-luck charm that has traveled with Ouzo Plomari ever since.
In another version, the wheel symbolizes eternal evolution, while the wings refer to the god Hermes, protector of commerce and travel.
